WCOB3003H Social Innovation Strategies Class (Fall 2020) with Dr. Rogelio Garcia-Contreras and Dr. Karl Schubert. This initiative has been presented to Executive Committee of the University of Arkansas.

This initiative is a 3-part strategy to expand the minority and women owned vendors, as well as their usage, at the University of Arkansas. The team was working with the Division for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The initiative consisted of: institutional awareness, a potential vendor education program, and collaboration with Registered Student Organizations and Greek Life. With this initiative and this 3-part plan, the University will see growth in the amount of minority and women owned vendors, as well as the usage of them at all aspects of the university. This plan encourages joint-efforts between the university and these vendors to foster and entire cohesion amongst them.
