Fulbright-Hays at Sixty: The Legacy of America’s Premiere Exchange Program

A conversation with Dr. Lonnie R. Johnson

October 1, 2021

The Fulbright Exchange Program is celebrating two anniversaries in 2021. It is the 75th anniversary of the program’s founding, and also the 60th anniversary of the Fulbright-Hays Act, which dramatically expanded the program in 1961.

Join us as we discuss the impact of the Fulbright-Hays legislation on America’s leading educational and cultural exchange program and consider how the legacy of the last six decades is shaping the future of the Fulbright program.
